How To Find Svartalfheim Kvasir’s Poems in God of War Ragnarok
Book #1 – Aurvangar Wetlands
During the story, you are tasked with pulling a chain to progress, after freezing a few geysers to make an elevator ascend. The poem is on a small table to the left of the previously mentioned chain.
Book #2 – The Applecore
For this one in particular, you’ll need to progress through the game until you unlock the spear ability. Once you have that ability, return to the mines via the elevator in the Sverd Sands. At the end of the first area, there will be a spot where you can use your spear to climb the wall. Scale the wall with your spear, and directly to your left will be a glowing pile of rubble. Blow it up with the spear, and then you’ll see a red chest on your left. The poem will be in front of said chest on the right.
Book #3 – Jarnsmida Pitmines
This one you might’ve stumbled upon during your first romp through the area, after fighting the Bergsra Mother. In the pit area, there will be a water tower you can use your blades to move. Here’s what you’ll need to do:
With your back facing the mine entrance, head down the left side of the path. The water tower will be on your right and, in front of you, will be an assortment of yellow stone that can be blown up with the red pot upon throwing your axe at it. Facing the water tower, pull the tower closer to you with your blades. This will trigger the water flow, and in the distance, you’ll see the brick platform slowly approaching you. Once the brick platform reaches you, scale up it, turn around, and throw your Leviathan Axe at the water tower flow. This will freeze the water flow, which will make the platform slowly return to the spot it came from. Once the platform reaches its stop, jump off of it with your blades and run down the path. To your left will be the poem, with a nice nod to a legendary PlayStation duo.
Book #4 – Nidavellir
After arriving in the town of Nidavellir, Kratos and Atreus will reach a port to dock their boat. To the left of the dock, there is a blockade of green material that bars you from your collectible. Simply shoot at it with Atreus’ Sonic Arrow, and it’ll clear up the blockade, allowing you to pick up the artifact. If you haven’t reached the point in the story where Atreus gains the Sonic Arrow, simply come back after gaining said ability. Conversely, if you forget, you can fast travel close to the docks via a Mystic Gateway to pick it up later.
Book #5 – Lyngbakr Island
For this one, you’ll need to head to the furthest island in the Bay of Bounty area. Dock your boat, and head on over to the lore marker. Directly behind the lore marker, you’ll find a wall you can scale up. At the top of the wall, turn left, jump over the gap, and on the right side of the platform, you’ll see the last Kvasir Poem.
