Google had introduced a new section in its Play Store which is named “Android Excellence”. This section will provide you the app that has great design and performance. The new section can be found in the revamped Editor’s choice section. Android Excellence will show you the apps that follow ‘Best practices’ as per the company. Google on its blog post said “The new collections will showcase apps and games that deliver incredible user experiences on Android, use many of our best practices, and have great design, technical performance, localization, and device optimization,” Let me tell you Google’s Android Excellence program is more extensive and the list will only be updated quarterly. Android Excellence now has games like Hitman Go, Pictionary, Riptide GP: Renegade etc. It also has apps like Memrise, Pocket, Skyscanner, Evernote etc. Well, the list will be refreshed quarterly. So, it might not be the best place to find new apps or games. However, the list will get plenty of promotion and exposure. So, what do you think about this?
