How to Get Direction Assistance in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
From time to time while exploring the world in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, a prompt will appear on the screen that says attention with an icon of the ZR button to the left of it. If you press and hold this button, then the camera will swing in the direction of what the game is trying to divert your attention towards. There are multiple different situations where this might happen. First off, this happens infrequently when trying to direct the player’s attention to certain landmarks like the giant blade sticking into the ground in the northeastern part of the world. However, this direction assistance on-screen prompt will pop up more frequently while passing by a skirmish as you’re exploring Aionios. Another one of the more frequent events that will initiate this is if a nearby person is talking and has some information that your party may be able to discuss at a rest spot. Both skirmishes and information gathering are important parts of seeing everything this game has to offer. Skirmishes aren’t a huge source of EXP, but they offer some along with Colony Affinity or Nopon Coins as victory rewards. In the same respect, information gathering is important since it’ll lead to discovering multiple new side quests. That’s all there is to know about how to get direction assistance in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Despite these little pushes in certain directions, the map is still one of the better options to figure out where to go next.
